2. Keep moving

Getting off an international flight to realize you've gotten cankles during a 12-hour flight can be a bit of a downer.  Whether it's getting up to walk up and down the aisles every other hour or stretching, there are some serious benefits from getting up and moving around.  Try this airplane yoga video from My Yoga Works on your next flight. 


3. Travel light

No one wants to be that person who hits everyone with their carry-on as they walk down the plane aisle. A little extra legroom under the seat in front of you can also do wonders. 4. Dress warm and comfortably

Being cold during a flight can be pretty brutal.  The best way to prevent yourself from turning into an ice cube is to layer up.  Pack an extra pair of warm socks if you've got on sandals or throw a lightweight travel blanket in your carry-on.  

5.  Grab a drink!

If you like to get to the airport super early, take advantage of the time there and hit up the airport bar.  A drink or two will definitely help you sleep much easier on the flight.  Just remember not to lose track of time!
