Today we suit up in our spandex and capes, preparing to celebrate the epic holiday that is Halloween.  Most widely celebrated in the U.S., Ireland, and Canada, Halloween got it's start in Ireland as the celtic feast of Samhain beginning in the 17th century that celebrated the end of the harvest season.  Historians speculate that the tradition of wearing costumes was a way to intimidate or disguise oneself from the aos sí (similar to fairies or elves).

Now, the entire holiday revolves around our costume and the ability for us to be someone else for a night.  So let's take a look at what other people around the globe are wearing on this Hallow's Eve...

These adorable kids from Handan City, China made their costumes from recyclable materials.  Cute and environmentally friendly!
