Crystals outline each deity.Sorte (pronounced "SOAR-chi") means "luck" in Portuguese and Sorte necklaces are a popular Brazilian tradition. Originally used as part of the scapular ("l'Escapulario") worn by monks over their habits, they have transformed over the centuries to become necklaces of protection and good luck.
