We’ve decided to up the anti on our blogging here at Live Worldly to at least one post a week to highlight some of our favorite items we have to offer. I decided to recognize two absolutely decadent necklaces made from my beautiful hometown of Boulder, Colorado. This week’s pick of the week are two of my favorite pieces of jewelry from Live American.

In 2004, Donna and her two daughters, Jessica and Amanda, launched their jewelry line in the heart of Boulder, Colorado. Growing up near New York City, Donna always had an adoration for, and extensive knowledge about, vintage jewelry. She shared this love of old treasures with her daughters, and soon the ladies were designing contemporary, ultra-glam pieces based on beautiful heirlooms. Each piece is made with elements from the 1920s through the 1980s, coast-to-coast inspiration, a lot of love, and just the right amount of sass.

My ultimate favorite from Live American is the Cupid’s Arrowhead Tribal Necklace. A fashionable ethnic tribal necklace with antique gold chain, rustic brown leather tassels, and tiny vintage beads dangling around the center of a 1940′s Copper gold arrowhead pendant with turquoise bauble. This necklace is PERFECT for Spring. Statement necklaces (AND turquoise!) are hot right now, and this necklace certainly makes a one-of-a-kind statement. Dress it up with a form fitting black mini dress, or dress it down with a white tank, jean shorts, and brown leather boots. This necklace will pull together any outfit you already have in your closet.

But if you feel like channeling your inner glam goddess, look no further. The Beaux Pearl Necklace is quite literally a head turning, show stopping necklace. Made of three strands of vintage white pearls interlaced with silver and gold chains, and accompanied by a silver mid-century bow encrusted with white rhinestones - this necklace radiates elegance. I’d even say it gives Elizabeth Taylor’s jewelry collection a run for it’s money.

The best part about both these exquisite necklaces, is that Live Worldly donates a portion of proceeds from both of these necklaces to The Surfrider Foundation, a non-profit grassroots organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of our world’s oceans, waves, and beaches. And who doesn’t want to keep protecting Mother Nature’s beautiful gift?

BUT!!! (And this is a big but…) There are only one of each left, so hurry and add them to your collection before I decide to break open my piggy bank and buy them myself!
